How to Add Music to Your Instagram Post
Open the Instagram app. Tap the + icon to add a post. Select a photo (or take one using the camera). Tap the Music icon at the top. Select Music > Duration of it > Tap Done > On the next screen tap the Share option at the top right to share the post.
Why can’t I add music to Instagram post?
If you are unable to add your favorite song to an IG post, you need to update the app. Go to the Play Store or App Store for iPhone and check if there are any updates available. Once done, restart the app and check, you will be able to do so.
Still can’t? Then Instagram’s music feature may not be available in your country or region. In this case, you need to wait for the next IG app version to be released.
Also, log in to your Instagram account on another smartphone. If you can add on that device, then there are device restrictions on your Instagram account, so you cannot add music to your posts.
