1. Open your Facebook app.
2. Tap the Menu icon (three lines at the top).
3. Tap Settings & Privacy then Settings.
4. Tap on the Followers and Public Content option.
5. Over there, you can change or edit the Followers settings.

Enable the Follow Button on your Profile

Update: How to Turn on Followers On Facebook App

The following method works on Facebook app updates in 2024. It’s very easy to activate or turn on your followers. All you need is to follow these steps:

1. Open your updated Facebook app.
2. Now tap Menu then Settings & Privacy.
3. Then tap Settings.
4. In Settings tap Followers and Public Content.
5. Set every option there as Public.
6. Now go back to your profile, tap Edit Profile, then Edit next to Details.
7. Scroll down to the very bottom and check the box at left to Followers.

That is it, now to see how many of your friends are following you. Go back to your Profile page and there you will see the number of your followers. However, it is to keep in mind that if you don’t have any yet, then you won’t see such an option in your profile.

How to See the List of Your Facebook Followers

Open the Facebook mobile app. Tap the Menu at the top right and tap Your Profile picture. Now if you tap the “Followed by People” option in your profile section. You will see the list of your followers on the Facebook mobile app. However, it is important to turn on the follower’s option first. Then you will be able to do it.

Change the “Add Friend” button to “Follow” on Facebook

Facebook allows you to change the “Add Friend”, Send Freind Request button to “Follow”. So that nobody will be able to send you friend requests on Facebook and then they will have only the Follow button to only follow on Facebook. You can change this by following these steps:
